Hoopfest 2024

Kick start your summer fun at Hoopfest 2024, the largest 3 on 3 basketball tournament in the world! Typically occurring during the last week of June, Hoopfest is a way for Spokane to come together as a community to enjoy the game of basketball. This tradition takes place in the heart of Spokane with more than 420 courts, 24,000+ players, 6,000+ teams and over 250,000 people come to watch. The city shuts down 45 city blocks to build courts for all of the players the tournament will host over the weekend.  

Hoopfest is a tradition that has lasted for 33 years and counting. Spokane’s community uses Hoopfest as a way to celebrate their deep roots within the game of basketball. But Hoopfest is more than just a basketball tournament. The organization is dedicated to building a healthy community through sports. All proceeds from the event go right back into the community. Hoopfest has donated $2.5 million to St. Luke's Rehabilitation Institute, East Central Community Center and The Special Olympics East Region. 

There is plenty more to do  than basketball, participants can grab a bite to eat at any of the 40+ food vendors. Including a few Pacific Northwest and Spokane locals like Longhorn BBQ, Pizza Rita, Wake Up Call Coffee and Birdie’s Pie Shop. Hoopfest goers can also catch a couple must see events like the Slam Dunk Competition and Men’s Open Elite Championship game. There is lots to do and plenty of time to see it all! This year the tournament will run from June 29-30th so make sure to head to Downtown Spokane to get in on the action!
