If you want additional places to explore other than Spokane, you are in luck! There is no shortage of day trips, exploring and adventuring to be done outside of the city. Really, there are too many to name so here’s a highlight of some of our favorites!
Sandpoint Idaho is just a 90 minute drive and is great for anyone who loves art! So many great boutiques, art exhibits and restaurants.
Leaveworth is a few hours away and is modeled after a Bavarian town. The architecture is amazing and there are lots of little spots to shop and eat.
If you like wine (who doesn’t) then you can head south 2 hours to Walla Walla where you will find an amazing assortment of wineries that offer tastings and fabulous restaurants.
There are also five ski resorts within 90 minutes of Spokane so you have plenty to choose from in the winter and a few also offer snow tubing!
There are lots and lots of lakes, trails, mountains, rivers and parks to explore as well. Spokane area is definitely a place for people who love the outdoors and enjoy trying new things!
