PODCAST TRANSCRIPT:
I’m Cassie and I drew the short-end of the straw today and I am the first interview.
We are going to break out the episodes into 3 with interviews of each of us.
Today I went to our office meeting and it was great and I have some goals that I need to be doing and then I went to an amazing adoption of Danielle’s daughter (3.5 years) and cried lots of tears and then I came back to podcast! I have been to a lot of adoptions and I think I cried the most tears at yours. It’s 3.5 years of you pouring into this kiddo and then they are your child after not knowing for sure if they will be.
You also did a lot of problem solving today with real estate. I have had to jump over so many hurdles with this particular case. I have learned so much in this 3 month transaction and it is set to close tomorrow and I will CELEBRATE.
What would you say is the most pivotal moment in your life?
I have never really fully felt like I can stand on my own two feet until this past year and the day I closed on my house as a sole home owner shifted something in me. It made me realize that I am powerful and strong enough to be in charge of my whole life and that was such a weird shift for me. I remember the day I got the call that I closed on the loan by myself and I felt so empowered. I got married at 18 so I just didn’t have that. I built this life for myself and I am sufficient to maintain it myself. And that was a huge shift for me. And I have remodeled that bathroom. There were so many hurdles this year and I was able to do it myself.
What about the most pivotal moment in real estate?
Real estate wise I started really slow because it was right at the beginning of the pandemic and then last spring all these deals started falling into place and it made me realize I can do this. There was one review in particular where she had worked with multiple real estate agents before me and her experience with me was she would never use anyone else. It made me realize I got this and I love this career field. It feels really comfortable for me and knowing clients are perceiving that made me realize yes this is whereI am suppose to be. There was a spring I was working 40 hours a week and nothing was happening and then it all clicked and deals came through and everything was worth it.
