Browne’s Addition
If you love historical homes and access to small community and cultural events than Browne’s Addition is for you! This quaint neighborhood just a few blocks west of downtown offers all of that and more. Filled with historic mansions and beautiful craftsman style homes.
There is the MAC museum (Museum of Arts and Culture) which features rotating exhibits throughout the year; from Dinosaurs to the Titanic and SO many others. They are truly remarkable and fun to explore for the entire family.
Coeur d’Alene park is centrally located in the neighborhood and features lots of space to run around, a playground and splash pad.
Tucked in the neighborhood are a variety of trendy restaurants. The Elk is a pub and grub with beer on tap and delicious burgers. There is also Pacific Pizza, Browne’s Bistro and El Que. If you are looking to dress up then check out the delicious food and wine at Italia Trattoria.
This area sits on a bluff. There are various trails around the bluff you can take to vantage points giving way to views of the Spokane River, Sunset hill and Riverside Park. And, when you are done exploring Browne’s Addition you can head a couple blocks east taking you right into Downtown Spokane!
